1. Marketec for PC
Marketec for PC does not automatically collect, transmit, or monitor any personal or business data. License requests are initiated manually by users via email at info@computologic.com.
No data is transmitted from your computer to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share it for technical support purposes.
2. Marketec Lookup (Android App)
Marketec Lookup is a mobile companion application for Marketec users. Data handling is as follows:
- User Identifiers: Only Client Key, Username, and Password are used to authenticate with the Firebase backend. These credentials are stored locally on the device for user convenience and are not shared with third parties. No email address or personal identity information is collected.
- Location Data: The application does not access, track, or transmit device location.
- Device Identifiers: The application does not collect device IDs, advertising IDs, or hardware identifiers.
3. Voluntary Data Submission
Users may voluntarily send database backups, screenshots, or related files to us by email for troubleshooting or technical support purposes only.
Such data is reviewed solely to diagnose and resolve the reported issue and is not used for analytics, marketing, or any other purpose. The data is not shared with third parties and is retained only for as long as necessary to provide support.
4. Data Security
- Encryption: All communication between applications and our servers uses secure encrypted protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share personal or business data with third parties.
- Local Storage: Authentication credentials are stored locally on the user’s device for convenience. We do not remotely access or retrieve these credentials.
